The Secretariat is pleased to announce that the Union's website is now regularly visited by up to 12,000 visitors each month, demonstrating a growing general interest for Radioecology issues and the usefulness of our website for those who seek related information.
It is also worth mentioning that during the last six months 16 new members, especially young scientists, joined the Union. It is now quite regularly that the Secretariat is solicited to advertise on the Unions' website announcements for job opportunities, whether permanent open positions, or calls for PhD and postdoctoral positions within Universities and Institutions active in Radioecology.
Furthermore, the Secretarait is noticing an increasing rate of requests for publications reports from IUR, books published or edited by IUR members, and general information available about Radioecology issues.
The Secretariat therefore encourages all members to communicate on their results, findings and analyses and to make maximum use of the Union's website fort this purpose.
