6th International Symposium on "In Situ Nuclear Metrology as a Tool for Radioecology"

[ INSINUME 2012, 11-15 June 2012 - Brussels, Belgium ]Organized by IRE (Belgium Institute for Radioelements) in cooperation with IUR and the European Commission.
Issues of interest in radiological monitoring of the environment and radioecology will be covered to illustrate the multidisciplinary nature of the involved sciences and the growing needs.
Topics for which contributions will be welcomed are the following:
- Regulatory framework concerning the release of radionuclides and the monitoring of radioactivity in the environment,
- New technologies and methodologies in radioactivity metrology,
- Quality Assurance,
- Radioactivity levels in environment and transfer of radionuclides,
- Impact of radioactivity on environment and population,
- Nuclear metrology in incidental/accidental conditions.
Deadline for abstract submission is 1st December 2011.
